APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon

Beat oil and sugar. Add eggs, beating until creamy. Sift in flour, salt, cinnamon and soda; stir. Add vanilla and remaining ingredients. Turn into a greased and well-floured tube pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 1/4 hours or until done. Cool in pan before turning out.
