CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS 
6 c. toasted rice cereal
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch flavored pieces

Arrange cereal in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch (3 quart) glass baking dish. Set aside.

Combine sugar and corn syrup in 3 quart glass casserole. Microwave at High setting 4 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring after 2 minutes.

Add peanut butter and stir until melted. Pour mixture over cereal. Cool in dish on wooden board or heatproof surface. Combine chocolate pieces and butterscotch-flavored pieces in 1 quart glass casserole.

Microwave at High setting 2 minutes, or until melted, stirring after 1 minute. Spread over cooled bars. Cool completely. Cut into 1 1/2 inch squares. Makes 48.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
