1 egg, beaten
3 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/3 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 1/8 c. sugar

In small saucepan, mix vinegar, water, salt, sugar, butter and beaten egg. Add flour gradually, stirring until well mixed. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Chill and serve.
