EASY HOMEMADE FUDGE | |
2 c. sugar 3/4 c. milk 2 tbsp. Hershey's cocoa 2 tbsp. white syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1 stick butter 1/2 c. pecans (Butter glass pie plate before you begin.) In large skillet, mix cocoa and sugar with large spoon and smooth cocoa with the sugar until evenly blended. Now add milk and white syrup to sugar and cocoa mixture and cook on low to medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook until soft ball forms in ice water. Remove from heat and add vanilla, butter, and pecans. Beat until mixture begins to thicken and texture looks glassy. Pour immediately in buttered dish. Don't beat too long or fudge will be grainy. |
