GARLIC PICKLES 
2 gal. whole dill pickles
2 (5 lb.) pkgs. sugar
1 pt. white vinegar
1 box McCormick pickling spices
1 whole bulb garlic

Drain pickles and slice. Cover with ice for 1 hour. Drain. Add spices, sugar, vinegar and garlic. Let set 1 day. Stir occasionally. Put into smaller jars.
