GARLIC PICKLES 
Dill (a dill tree or two)
Peeled garlic (5 cloves per jar)
6 peppercorns (per jar)
1 qt. vinegar, white
3/4 c. pickling salt
3 qt. water

Wash grocery bag of cucumbers. Set in cold water (ice in sink). Wash jars; dip in boiling water. Cut cucumbers and place in jars.

Boil on stove the water, white vinegar and salt. Pour over cucumbers in jars. Make sure jars are full. Let set for 3 weeks. Makes 12 jars.
