GARLIC PICKLES 
Dill (a dill tree or two)
Peeled garlic (5 cloves per jar)
6 peppercorns (per jar)
1 qt. vinegar, white
3/4 c. pickling salt
3 qt. water

Wash grocery bag of cucumbers. Set in cold water (ice in sink). Wash jars; dip in boiling water. Cut cucumbers and place in jars.

Boil on stove the water, white vinegar and salt. Pour over cucumbers in jars. Make sure jars are full to 1/2 inch of top. Let set for 3 weeks. Makes 12 jars.
