SWEDISH COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix first 3 ingredients as for pie crust. Divide mixture in half and flatten on ungreased cookie sheet. Add 1 cup water to butter and bring to boil. Add flour and stir until smooth. Stir in eggs one at a time, beating. Add extract. Spread over pie crust. Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes.

ICING:

1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. powdered sugar
Milk to spread
