HOT VIRGINIA DIP 
1 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. butter
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 tbsp. milk
5 oz. dried beef, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. sour cream
4 tsp. minced onion

Microwave pecans and butter 2 minutes on 50% power. Mix remaining ingredients and place in 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Top with pecan mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly, about 30 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
