ORIENTAL DIPPING SAUCE 
3/4 c. V-8 juice
1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
2 tbsp. rice vinegar or dry sherry
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. grated fresh ginger

In medium microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients. Cover with waxed paper, microwave on high 3 minutes or until hot and bubbly, stirring once during cooking.

Makes 1 cup.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
