GERMAN SALAD 
1 head lettuce
3 stalks celery
2 sm. Bunettes green onions
1 sm. can peas
1 pt. jar Hellmann's mayonnaise
1 tsp. sugar
1 sm. shake Parmesan cheese
9 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled

Cut lettuce, celery, onions very fine. Layer lettuce, celery, onions; add 1 tablespoon mayonnaise over layer. Add 1 small can peas, drained. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon sugar over all.

Spread remaining mayonnaise over top. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over mayonnaise. Top with bacon crumbs just before serving.
