BUTTER HORNS 
3/4 c. sour cream
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
2 c. flour
1 egg yolk, beaten

FILLING:

1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. pecans, finely chopped

Cut shortening into flour like pie crust. Combine egg and sour cream and add to flour mixture, stir thoroughly. Chill overnight (covered).

Divide into 4 sections. Roll each section in a circle on a floured and sugared board. Cut in wedges. Sprinkle with filling. Roll up wide end first. Shape like crescents. Bake in 375 degree oven for approximately 15-20 minutes.
