SCALLION-CHEDDAR ROLLS | |
1 c. finely chopped scallions 4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded (1 c.) 1 tsp. celery seeds 1 tsp. black pepper 2 (16 oz.) boxes hot roll mix 1. Gresae 3 large cookie sheets. 2. Add scallions, cheese, celery seeds and pepper to dry hot roll mix, then prepare as directed on package. 3. Divide dough in thirds. Working with one third at a time, cut each third in 24 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and arrange, with sides touching, in 2 curves (12 balls each) on cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. 4. Cover loosely with greased plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place, 80 to 85 degrees, 20 minutes or until almost doubled. 5. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Uncover rolls and bake 1 sheet at a time 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on sheet on wire rack. Makes 72. |
