EGGLESS, MILKLESS, BUTTERLESS
CAKE
 
2 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. each cloves & ginger
1 tsp. each cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice & salt
2 c. water
2 c. raisins

Boil the above 5 minutes in saucepan and cool to lukewarm. Add: 3 c. flour

Bake in greased 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve frosted or unfrosted.
