CRANBERRY SALAD 
1 1b. fresh cranberries, chopped
2 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. water (approx.)
1 c. chopped nuts
1 apple, chopped
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. red Jell-O

Chop berries and add sugar. Let stand one hour. Grate rind of orange and add to cranberries and sugar. Reserve juice of orange. Drain pineapple and reserve juice. Peel apple and chop. Mix with berries. Add pineapple and nuts. Take orange juice and pineapple juice and measure in measuring cup and add enough water to make 2 1/2 cups. Bring to boil in saucepan. Boil 1 minute; remove and add Jell-O. Stir thoroughly. Cool. Add to cranberry mixture. Chill until set.
