PICCALILLI 
4 qt. green tomatoes
6 red sweet peppers
6 green peppers
1 pt. sm. onions
1 qt. 1 pt. cider vinegar
3 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. salt
1/2 c. mustard seed
1 1/2 tbsp. celery seed
1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tbsp. allspice

Grind vegetables in food chopper, pour into a colander and drain off the liquid. Discard the liquid. Put drained vegetables in large kettle - add 1 quart cider vinegar. Boil uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Again drain and discard liquid. Replace vegetables in kettle and add the pint of vinegar, sugar and spices. Simmer uncovered for 3 minutes. Fill sterilized jars and seal. Great with hot dogs!
