CHEESY MEAT LOAF 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. American cheese, diced
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork

Cook onion and green pepper in boiling water until tender. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, eggs, cheese, bread crumbs and salt. Add pepper, thyme, and ground meats. Mix well. Shape into loaf and place in baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 8 to 10.
