BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER SALAD | |
1 cauliflower 1 lb. broccoli 1/2 lb. mushrooms 1 purple onion 2 celery stalks lettuce leaves (optional) Dressing: 1 c. vegetable oil 1/2 c. white wine vinegar 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning 2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt (optional) Combine the cut up cauliflower, broccoli, sliced mushrooms, sliced onion and celery in a large bowl. Set aside. Combine the oil, vinegar, sugar, Italian seasoning, dry mustard and salt in a small bowl and stir well. Pour over vegetables. Toss gently to coat. Cover and chill 3 hours. May serve on lettuce leaves. |
