CALIFORNIA CHICKEN 
4 lg. skinned chicken breasts
Oil, garlic salt, salt & pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts
1 (10 oz.) can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 can milk

Brown chicken in small amount of oil. Place in a 10 inch square casserole. Season with garlic salt, salt and pepper. Sprinkle chopped onion over chicken. Place halved artichoke hearts around chicken. Pour soup diluted with milk over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Uncover last 15 minutes. (Even the kids love this one.)
