PINEAPPLE ORANGE CAKE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines buttercake mix
1 extra egg
1 can mandarin oranges
1 (12 oz.) vanilla instant pudding mix
1 lg. and 1 med. size Cool Whip or equivalent (approximately 20 oz.)
1 lg. can crushed pineapple

Prepare batter per package instructions plus adding the extra egg. Drain oranges and fold into batter. Bake, cool - then slice layers in half to make 4.
