CHICKEN ROASTED WITH CIDER 
3 lb. whole broiler-fryer chicken
1 onion, diced
1 apple, cored, peeled and chopped
3/4 c. apple cider
Pepper
1 tsp. dried rosemary

Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place the chicken in a baking dish and fill the cavity with the onion and apple. Pour the cider over the chicken and sprinkle the pepper and rosemary over the whole bird. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Remove cover and let brown for 10 minutes.
