GRANNY CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. nuts, chopped
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. canned milk
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

Bring to a boil sugar, canned milk, butter and vanilla. Pour over hot cake. Do not boil too long as it will harden.
