BANANA CUPCAKES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/4 c. sour milk
1 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla

LEMON-BANANA FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
3 tbsp. mashed bananas
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mashed bananas. Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the bananas mixture, alternating it with the sour milk. Add vanilla. Bake at 375 degrees in muffin pans.

Frost the frosting, cream the ingredients together and mix until smooth. Spread cupcakes while still warm.
