ENCHILADA PIE 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 whole good size onion, chopped
Pinch salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
12 oz. can tomato sauce
1 or 2 pkg. of tortilla shells
1 1/2 c. grated cheese, any kind
1/2 c. water

Brown hamburger with onion. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drain fat. Add tomato sauce and chili powder

Put tortilla shells crushed in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Add layer of hamburger, sprinkle cheese. Then another layer of tortilla shell, then hamburger, sprinkle cheese. Pour water over and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 8 servings.
