CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 1/4 c. rolled oats, divided
1/2 c. butter, divided
1 egg
1 c. Comstock cherry pie filling or favorite filling
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. brown sugar

In a bowl, combine cake mix, 1 cup oats and 6 tablespoons butter, mix until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for topping. With remaining crumbs add egg and mix well. Press into greased 9"x13" baking pan. Spread pie filling over crust. To reserved crumbs add remaining butter and oats, nuts and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until brown. Cool. Cut into bars.
