DOODLE CAKE 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (#2) can undrained crushed pineapple

Mix dry ingredients together. Stir in beaten eggs and undrained pineapple. Mix well with spoon. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Immediately pour hot frosting over; spread and cool. Cut in squares.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Mix all together and boil for 3 minutes. Pour over hot cake as it is removed from oven.
