CINNAMON APPLE BUTTER 
4 lbs. cooking apples
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
5 whole cloves
1 1/4 c. water

Peel, core and chop apples then put in saucepan with rest of the ingredients and cook over low heat until the apples are very soft. Remove the cloves. Beat the mixture until smooth and creamy. Bring to a boil, then pour into warm sterilized jars and seal immediately.
