COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. coconut
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 tbsp. flour
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt

Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt in bowl. Stir in egg whites and almond extract; mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown around the edges. Remove from baking sheets at once. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cookies.
