BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. well packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. stirred whole wheat flour
1/2 c. broken pecans

Cream together butter and brown sugar until fluffy. The texture of your brownies depends on fluffiness.

Melt chocolate squares and add to creamed mixture.

Add in the following in order: vanilla, whole wheat flour and pecans. Spread in greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees 35-40 minutes. Cool.

Ice with following icing:

Beat together: A pinch of salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 tbsp. milk Enough powdered sugar to make a good spreading consistency

It should be soft and fluffy. Cut in squares.
