MICROWAVE BURRITO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef, crumbled
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
6 lg. tortillas, buttered
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Microwave ground beef, onion and garlic in butter in glass baking dish on high for 6 minutes or until cooked through; drain. Add salt, pepper, chili powder and tomato sauce, mixing well. Alternate layers of tortillas, ground beef mixture and 1 1/2 cups cheese in 2 quart casserole. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Pour 1/2 cup water around inside edge of casserole.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
