POLISH SAUSAGE SOUP 
4 strips bacon
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, sliced
1 c. carrots, sliced
2 bay leaves
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
2 cans pork n beans
Polish sausage

Fry the bacon. Saute the onion, celery, and carrots in bacon grease for 10 minutes until tender. In large kettle, put 2 bay leaves, 2 cups water, and 1 large can whole tomatoes. Rinse 2 cans pork 'n beans and add. Cook 1 hour over low heat. Add sausage; cook 2 more hours. Salt and pepper to taste. Cut up sausage and remove bay leaves.
