MRS. SHERWOOD'S CREAM PIE 
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)
1/2 c. Carnation milk
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
Butter
Cinnamon

Mix sugar and cornstarch, then stir in milk and cream until smooth. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in preheated oven at 450 degrees until it begins to bubble. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 20 minutes.

Note: Put foil around edges to keep from burning.
