PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 lb. packed brown sugar
1 can (20 oz.) sliced pineapple, drained
Walnut halves
Maraschino cherries
1 pkg. Betty Crocker Super Moist yellow or butter recipe yellow cake mix

Heat oven to 350. Heat butter in rectangular pan 13x9x2 inch in oven until melted. Sprinkle brown sugar over butter. Arrange pineapple on top. Decorate with walnut halves and cherries.

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into pan. Bake until top springs back when touched lightly in center, 45 to 55 minutes. Immediately invert pan on heat proof serving plate. Let pan remain a few minutes. Serve warm and if desired with whipped cream. (I only bake cake for 45 minutes.)
