BANANA BUTTERSCOTCH CHIP LOAF 
3 mashed bananas
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted (I use Chefmaster 52% oil)
1 egg
3 tbsp. sour milk (2 tbsp. milk + 1 tsp. vinegar)
1/2 cup sugar (I choose not to put this in)
2 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt (I choose not to put this in)
1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup butterscotch or chocolate ships

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl stirring until mixed. Sift the next 5 ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing each addition. Finally add nuts and chips mixing until mixed.

Bake at 350°F for 35 to 50 minutes.

Note: This recipe can be made in a bread maker set to quick breads and layering the items in the order they appear.
