BANANA SPLIT DESSERT 
40 crushed vanilla wafers
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
3 bananas
1/2 gal. Neapolitan ice cream
1 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. chocolate chips
1 c. evaporated milk
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip

Mix wafers, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup butter and put in 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Slice bananas over crust. Cut ice cream into 3/4" to 1" slices and place over bananas. Sprinkle walnuts over ice cream. Freeze until ice cream is firm. In saucepan, add chocolate chips, evaporated milk, powdered sugar, butter and vanilla and cook until thick. Cool. Spread over ice cream and nuts. Freeze again. Spread Cool Whip over top. Cut and serve. (Easily kept for 3 or 4 days.)
