BAKED EGGS | |
8 slices bread, cut 4 slices to 1 inch sqs. 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, grated Ham or any smoked breakfast meat, chopped 8 eggs 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. dry mustard 4 c. milk Couple dashes Tabasco sauce Butter a 9 x 13 inch pan (or casserole). Take the bread - 4 slices in the bottom of the pan. Grate the cheese over the bread. Add chopped ham or any smoked meat - or breakfast meat - over the cheese (any amount that you'd like). Place the rest of the bread over the meat and cheese. Beat the 8 eggs well. Add the salt, dry mustard, milk, and Tabasco sauce. Pour over the bread. Cover with foil. Refrigerate overnight. In morning, remove foil. Sprinkle with paprika and bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until set. Let sit about 10 minutes before cutting and servings. Great prepared ahead for a company breakfast. |
