SOUR DOUGH PANCAKES 
2 c. sour dough starter
1 c. flour
1 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
2 tbsp. melted butter

Combine starter, flour and water. Cover and let stand in a warm place overnight. Next morning, stir in sugar, soda, salt and egg. If too thin, then add more flour, if too thick add more water. Stir in melted butter and let stand a few minutes. Fry over medium heat on a butter griddle, turning once.

Makes 6 servings.
