MEAT BALLS 
3/4 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 lb. lean ground pork
3/4 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. finely chopped water chestnuts
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/2 tsp. garlic
Few drops hot pepper sauce
1 lb. butter

Combine all ingredients except butter. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 48 balls. Brown well in butter. Drain on absorbent paper. Add to sweet-sour sauce and simmer 30 minutes. Serve hot.

SWEET SOUR SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. cold water

Combine sugar, vinegar, water, spices in large skillet. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Blend cornstarch and water. Add to hot mixture. Cook stirring until mixture thickens slightly.
