ITALIAN MEAT BALLS 
Sm. bottle olive oil
1/2 med. sweet green pepper, diced
1/2 med. onion, diced

Cook slowly in large pot. Add: 1 lg. can tomato paste 2 cans water 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. crushed hot peppers 2 tbsp. sugar

Cook on medium heat while preparing meatballs.

MEATBALLS:

2 lbs. hamburger
2 slices bread, crumbled
2 tbsp. dried parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Mix together with eggs (4 or 5). Form balls. Add to boiling sauce. Simmer 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

Note: You can add 1 teaspoon ground red pepper and some salt and pepper to sauce.
