LETTUCE SALAD | |
Layer in order given in large bowl. 1 head shredded lettuce, cut with knife 1/4 c. sliced green onions 1/4 c. chopped celery 1 can drained sliced water chestnuts 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, do not cook and don't thaw completely 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 c. mayonnaise, spread over peas Sprinkle layered salad generously with Parmesan and Romano cheeses. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Toss just before serving. |
