CABALLERO BANQUETE 
1 lb. ground lean beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can green beans, drained
1 can tomato soup
1 tbsp. capers
1/4 c. raisins
1 doz. green olives
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. hot whipped potatoes
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Brown beef in skillet; add onion before done and continue until onion is clear. Drain any fat; add green beans, tomato soup, capers, raisins, olives, and garlic powder. Simmer until flavors blend, about 5 minutes. Pour into 1 quart casserole. Spoon whipped potatoes around inside of dish, forming a border on top of meat mixture. Sprinkle cheese on potatoes and brown in 350 degree oven.

This recipe started out at our cattle ranch as "A Cowboy's Banquet". When a Spanish friend added the raisins, capers, and green olives, we renamed it "Cabellero Banquete".
