CALIFORNIA FRUIT CRUNCH 
1 can fruit cocktail
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Drain fruit. Beat together egg and sugar; set aside. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; stir fruit into dry mixture. Add egg and sugar mixture. Grease 8 x 8 inch pan and pour in; sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
