MARY'S HOT BEEF (ALSO KNOWN AS
STEAMER'S)
 
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 lbs. lean hamburger
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 green pepper, diced
1 onion, diced
2 tbsp. celery seed

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Cook about 210 degrees until done. (Liquid will boil out and ingredients will thicken up.) Add 1/2 small jar ketchup. Serve on hamburger roll.
