HONEY CAKE 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
3/4 c. honey
1/2 c. orange marmalade
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 lg. eggs
1 c. strong brewed tea
1/3 c. sliced almonds

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease an 8" square baking pan. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices. In a medium size bowl beat honey, marmalade, sugar, oil and eggs with electric mixer at high speed 2 minutes or until well blended and thickened. Stir in flour mixture in 3 additions alternately with the tea, mixing just to blend after each. Do not overbeat. Pour into prepared pan; sprinkle with almonds. Bake 1 hour or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into 8 squares.
