MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1/3 c. cocoa
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme or 2 c. miniature marshmallows

Melt butter; stir in cocoa. Add eggs, sugar, flour, and salt to melted mixture; mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 11x14 inch pan or two 8-inch square pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

When done, spread with marshmallow creme or marshmallows and return to oven, if necessary, to melt topping. Cool cake. Frost with icing.

ICING:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/3 c. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and cocoa; add milk and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Frost cooled cake.
