MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
1/3 c. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs. Sift flour, cocoa and salt. Add to the sugar mixture. Blend well. Add vanilla and nuts and pour into well greased and floured rectangle pan. Bake in 300 degree oven for 20 minutes. Take out of oven and cover top of cake with marshmallows. Return to oven and cook 25 minutes more at 350 degrees.

ICING:

2 sticks butter, melted
1/2 c. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
