CHOCOLATE MOUNTAIN TOP COOKIES 
1/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/3 tsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
Dash salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

FROSTING:

2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/4 to 1/2 c. cocoa
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Hot water or milk

Cream Crisco, sugar, egg, vanilla and evaporated milk together. Sift flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Blend the flour mixture with cream mixture.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. The center of the cookies should be a little soft. Immediately after removing from oven, place 1/2 marshmallow cut side down on cookie. Press gently. Let cool.

Mix frosting. Add hot water or milk to make a smooth even icing. Spread on top of marshmallow cookie.
