POACHED PEARS - GRAND MARINER 
4 pears, washed
1 c. bourbon whiskey
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate, defrosted
2 tbsp. Triple Sec or Grand Mariner
1 whole cinnamon stick
Whipped cream, add 1 tbsp. Grand Mariner

Place the whole, unpeeled pears stem up in a deep baking dish. Mix together the whiskey, sugar, orange juice and liqueur, stirring to dissolve the sugar and pour over the pears. Add cinnamon stick. Cover and bake in a preheated oven 375 degrees for 40 minutes; uncover and bake another 45 minutes, or until tender, basting occasionally. Chill. To serve, place pears in individual goblets, spoon baking sauce on top and top with whipped cream.
