BROCCOLI ONION CASSEROLE 
2 bunches broccoli
3/4 c. onion slices
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
6 oz. cream cheese
Bread crumbs
Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Chop broccoli into bite-size pieces. Steam with onion slices until crisp tender. Make sauce by melted butter in 2-quart saucepan. Mix in flour and pepper, blend well. Add milk and heat until thick, stirring constantly. Blend in cream cheese, stirring well until melted. Mix in strained vegetables and put in casserole dish. Top with Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes.
