COOKIE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water
3 1/2 tbsp. cocoa and 4 tsp.
1/2 c. and 1/3 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box confectioners' sugar
3/4 c. walnuts

Mix together flour and sugar. Set aside in large bowl.

Combine in saucepan and boil together 1 stick butter, water, shortening and cocoa. Add this mixture to ingredients in bowl. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Beat together well. Spread on greased cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. buttermilk
4 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat until mixed together. Add confectioners' sugar and walnuts. Spread over cake and cool.
